So I swear there's always something bringing me down during study time every single semester (it's one subject per semester and I get some study leave but the whole work full time study part time thing is never fun.). So this time, it's meant shoe shopping (as opposed to whatever I bought last time I blogged)!
Bonbons Saffron in Plum Suede
I've been eying these shoes for a while although knowing the quality, it would probably be quite lacking so I was never really willing to fork it out. However, the shoe link was selling them for $30 and it came in my size (6.5), so I thought, hey why not.
These arrived on Friday so that's cool
Acne Pistols in Black (For what is considered CHEAP)
Meanwhile, there's a pair of classic black boots that I've been looking at for ages, thinking hey there's no point, my nine wests will last me.
Well..after the last music festival I went to I don't think I can say that (and I don't want to think of all the fluids and dirt which was stuck to my shoes. They went from black to brown!)
My-Wardrobe.com currently has a 30% off code: myX30. If you switch from the overpriced $600 AUD site to the British pound GBP site and put the code in the price (including shipping!) drops to a much more reasonable $350 AUD. For that much, why not!
These shoes are a classic. Supposed to last forever and making fashion headlines for the past few years. You can tell they're well made by the way the sole is sealed and with luck the heel doesn't get thrashed as often as my nine wests (which I've had to re-heel a few times.)
Shoes of Prey - Click Frenzy was worthwhile to get custom shoes for pretty much half price
Alas I didn't stop with my shoe shopping.
So about two days ago there was click frenzy, Australia's attempt at a black friday sale (on Anzac day? Really? How commercial. But considering I am cramming away I guess it doesn't matter).
They also had 30% off so away I went buying the gift certificates for 30% off (as brandsexclusive also had 30% off which I also bought but that's delayed which bothered me so much. Also they haven't cancelled my order after emailing them right after. Well, that's an issue for another time)
Then I decided I really wanted shoes now so I went and bought the ones I had designed previously.
At another 30% off.
These are slightly boring with a short heel or none at all ,but at least I know I can wear them all the time.
Total price - $502 ($500 gift voucher + $2)
Now as the gift voucher was actually $350, that means in total, it was $352.
Win?
